Kamo Wakeikazuchi Jinja Shrine
Kamigamo Jinja Shrine is the oldest shrine in Kyoto, and its entire grounds are registered as a World Heritage Site. The main enshrined deity is believed to have a very powerful thunder power that can remove all kinds of bad luck. The deity also protects the electric industry, so this shrine is especially recommended to people in the industry.

Kamo-Wakeikazuchi-no-Ookami:The deity of thunder and farming, who descended to Mt. Koyama, which is located in the north of the shrine.

Normal Days–200 yen for every 30 minutes (Entry is available from 6:00 to 22:00, exiting is available 24 hours)
Busy Days–1000 yen per day (From 9:00 to 16:00, exiting is available until 17:00)
*Please note that the parking fee is 200 yen for every 30 minutes on busy days as well from 6:00 to 9:00 and 16:00 to 17:00. Also, ‘busy days’ reffers to the days on which rituals will be held. For more information, please contact the shrine office (TEL: 075-781-0011).*
