Kitano Tenmangu Shrine was built in 947, and is the headquarter of the 12,000 Tenmangu and Tenjin shrines in Japan. The main enshrined deity is Sugawara-no-Michizane, one of the most worshipped deity of academics in Japan.

Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine has a history of over 1300 years, and has been worshipped for its blessings in good harvest, business success, and household safety. Its 'Senbon Torii' is famous for appearing in various animes.
